- Held from March 25th to the 26th, 2011 in Port Antonio, Jamaica, the Red Bull Music Academy Bass Camp drew participants from several Caribbean islands including Trinidad and Tobago and St. Kitts Nevis in addition to Jamaica. The Caribbean region is more popularly known for Reggae, Dancehall, Soca and Calypso but the Red Bull Music Academy Bass Camp placed the spotlight on several alternative genres including Rap, Hip Hop and Rock where several artistes in attendance are busy perfecting these Caribbean fused musical influences with their own unique flair.
